First Impressions

As soon as you enter Vivo Pizza + Pasta, you’re greeted by a black curtain that subtly separates the cozy interior from the outside world—a small detail that hints at the intimate dining experience inside. The interior design makes it a great spot for dinner, with warm tones and a relaxed atmosphere that would shine even more in the evening. I visited around 5–6 PM, when it was still bright outside, so I didn’t quite get to enjoy the full ambiance, but I could definitely see the potential for a more elevated vibe once the sun sets.

Dishes on the Menu

  • Cappricciosa: At first glance, it didn’t really look like the one advertised on the internet. It didn’t really want me to make me eat it. .  They also created the pizza from scratch (which I really like) also how they served it with thin crust. But I felt it would have been better with smaller chunks of asparagus and less olives. When it comes to their price, I would say it was worth it as their servings are big enough for a single person
  • Frutti Di Mare: The pasta didn’t look visually appealing as much as I expected. However, I really like that it came straight from the pan, you can see the heat coming from the food, which is very nice. The flavours of the pasta complement. I like how chewy the squid are and how the clams also add to the flavour. The tomato sauce wasn’t too salty and smooth, which makes the pasta easy to eat.

Service and Atmosphere

In terms of the atmosphere, I feel like it would be perfect for dinner; it can be a quiet place but also a lively atmosphere. The vibes are quite good but you can feel the atmosphere better at night.

In terms of service, the staff were pretty nice and accommodating, but I felt like the server never took a notice for me. It took a little while for the server to notice, but overall, the service was okay.

Final Thoughts

While I enjoyed the vibe of this place, I wouldn’t necessarily go back to this place. Having gone to other Italian places, I felt it was like this was okay place. One thing I like about this place is that their servings were huge and definitely worth the price spent.
